Prewash once or twice before first use — a temporary protective coating (there to keep your sheet dust-free in transit) needs a couple of washes to fully dissolve. Until then, liquid may pool rather than absorb, so take a little extra care lifting a wet sheet in the first week or two.

How is it different from a regular waterproof sheet?
Most protectors only cover the middle of the mattress, leaving the edges exposed. Ours is sized for genuine full coverage — no repositioning through the night, no gaps for spills to find.
Does it really feel soft, not plasticky?
Yes — the top layer is designed to feel like bedding, not a shower curtain. No crinkle, no cold clammy surface.
How quickly does it dry after washing?
Lightweight build, so it washes and dries fast — line dry or a low tumble, ready to go back on the bed the same day.
Does it actually protect properly, or just push liquid around?
It's a genuine waterproof barrier, not an absorbent pad that lets moisture through. Once the initial factory coating has washed off (first couple of uses), liquid is absorbed and contained rather than pooling on top.
Is it easy to wash and reuse?
Very — machine wash, dry, and it's ready again. Just avoid puncturing it (teething kids, we see you).
Why is it more expensive than other protectors?
Because it's made to last, not to be replaced every season. A well-made sheet that holds its waterproofing wash after wash costs more to make than a thin, single-use-feeling one — and it saves you from re-buying every year.
